Hello! Today I am going to be listing the three books that I am currently reading and telling you how I like them so far. I hope you enjoy!
1st book: Hamilton and Peggy by L.M Elliot
I am about 1/3 of the way through this book, and I love it so far! It is a Hamilton retelling featuring Alexander Hamilton and Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton, who was his wife. Another one of the book’s characters is Margarita Schuyler Van Rensselaer (Peggy) who was Eliza’s younger sister. I recommend this book to anyone who loves the Hamilton Musical and Alexander Hamilton himself. If you are interested and liked this book, L.M Elliot also wrote two Alex and Eliza fictional books about Alexander Hamilton and his wife. I recommend checking those out if you liked this title because I have heard great things about both of the Alex and Eliza books!
2nd book: The Hazel Wood: Melissa Albert
I am not too far into this book, but so far it is pretty good. I am not sure whether or not I will end up loving it or not. It is very popular, and most people either love it or hate it, but I think it is ok so far. I was lucky enough to receive the ARC copy, which I am super grateful for! I do recommend giving it a shot because there are a lot of people who loved this book, and some who didn’t.
3rd Book: My Lady Jane
I started reading this because I saw a book review on it, and that person seemed to love it. I really like it so far! It is a Historical Fiction read featuring Queen Elizabeth and a bunch of other historical characters. It has a lot of comedy, but it is also very historical. I am also very excited because the sequel, My Plain Jane comes out soon!
I hoped you like this post! I am sorry it was so short, but yesterday’s long post took a lot out of me! Tomorrow I will return with something more exciting, but I hope this maybe gave you a few ideas on some new books to try out!
