I don’t know about you guys, but personally can forget to drink water. Part of my 2019 goals were to drink more water, so today I figured that I could share some of my favorite resources to stay hydrated!

There are so many smart phone apps out there in this day and age that can help you track your water intake. Some of them can even send you daily reminders to drink up! These apps are really good for those who want to start tracking their water intake and don’t know where to start.
Add some fruits!
Part of the reasons a lot of people don’t particularly like drinking water is that it is too bland for them. Therefore, they turn to sodas and sugary drinks that have more flavor. These drinks aren’t good for your body and can ultimately lead your body to dehydration. So to fix this, lets get to the root of the problem… the flavor. You may not know it, but you can actually find ways to give your water a spark of taste. A very popular alternative is adding a piece of fruit. Whether it is a lemon or a strawberry, adding a fruit to your drink gives it a fruity kick and it super good for your body!
Get a cute water bottle!
Its sounds a little weird, but when I have a cute water bottle to drink out of, I drink double the amount of water! I got my mom this one for christmas and I think it is so cute! Having a cute water bottle to carry around during your everyday life is so essential to me, and I think this will definitely help you guys be more motivated to drink more h20!
Drink with a (reusable) straw
I purchased a pack of metal straws for a family Christmas present this past Christmas and they have been so handy. I personally enjoy drinking with a straw, but I don’t want to use plastic and hurt the environment. Metal straws are a great alternative for this problem, and you can still enjoy drinking out of a straw! Here is a pack of them if you are interested!
Set a goal!
A lot of people make it a goal to drink 7-8 cups of water a day. Set a goal and track how much you are drinking to stay on top of it.
Drink out of a mason jar!
I don’t know about you guys, but I LOVE drinking out of mason jars. I am so much more likely to drink water if it is in a mason jar – something about it is so fun to me!😅
