ABOUT ME

LibbyLongstocking, named after a childhood nickname of mine (due to resembling Astrid Lindgren’s redheaded Pippi), started over six years ago in 2018 as a passion project for an 11 year old Libby who wanted to review and write about the books she was loving. It quickly found success and has attracted nearly 9,000 visitors and subscribers. In the years since the sites founding, LibbyLongstocking has grown up with me and evolved into a place where I share not only the books seventeen year old Libby loves but also a place to showcase the work I have done in the many roles I have acquired since, such as film directing and producing, script and play writing, and journalistic writing endeavors.

My love for reading has never wavered, so alongside the more serious work I continue to share and write about all things literary, as well as stories and photographs from my travels and occasional musings about life and the things I’m currently loving.

I am so grateful that I have been able to work on LibbyLongstocking for over six years now, and in the process transform from a childhood writer to a passionate and professional creative working across various art forms.
