This is a great fantasy tale and I am super excited to review it and share my love for this book with all of you. Keep on reading to learn more about this amazing fantasy that took my breath away!

Initial thoughts and opinion

This book was amazing. It definitely impressed me. As a fairytale fan myself, this book was an absolute pleasure to read. I especially loved the ending, it sets itself up for a perfect series.

Cinder is a talented mechanic who lives with her “evil” stepmother, Adri, her other selfish stepsister named Pearl, and her other stepsister named Peony. Cinder is a cyborg, she is half robot and half human. After Peony catches a deadly plaque, Cinder is ready to do anything to help her. Cinder starts working with Doctor Erland, the head doctor on the plaque researching team. Since Cinder has a special quality in her past, she is immune to the disease. The doctor is using her to find an antidote. Meanwhile, the Emperor Rikan is down with the plaque and soon passes away and now the whole country is in the hands of Prince Kai. Queen Levana of Luna is plotting a war against earth. She wants to marry Prince Kai to steal his throne, and she is about ready to do anything to get there. As Prince Kai’s love interest grows stronger and stronger against Cinder, Cinder is put under a lot of pressure. Cinder is planning on fixing up an old car and escaping from her adopted “family”. She then figures out information that postpones her escape, most likely for good. Hurrying to catch Prince Kai before he announces his decision that can severely damage the fate of the CommonWealth, or worse, the whole world. As Cinder learns more and more about her past, she gets Levana’s unwanted attention. Read Cinder to find out what happens between the Levana and her new arch-nemesis, Linh Cinder

Kai is a very firm but sweet character. He is very strong and likeable, and he wants to do this best thing for his country.

– Peony

Peony is a big girly kind of girl that has a sweet and caring heart. She accepted Cinder into her family and has always treated her like a sister.
